hello 5 months

O.M.G. im now 5 months. aka 20 weeks. aka halfway there. time is a flyin.

been busy with lots of stuff lately including picking out stuff for the registry, working, and trying to enjoy whatever free time i have leftover. [dwight and i got up tuesday and drove out to the beach to watch the sun rise and then went to breakfast :)] also got my bloodwork results back, though i had to call and ask for them -_-, and everything is good! i really wanted to be in office to review them more fully but ill ask the doc when i see him next time. also i am a negative blood type which means i get a shot at 28 weeks and delivery. yay .____.

in baby news, 20 weeks mean Bri is around 10.5 oz and about 10 in head to heel. she is swallowing more which is good practice for her digestive and she is now producing meconium.

How Far Along? 20 weeks

how big is baby: about 10.5 oz and about the length of a banana.

Symptoms: some fatigue, hunger, growing pains, leg pains during the night, forgetfulness.

Total Weight Gain/Loss: i will update this later as i dont know.

maternity clothes? i have realized that some of my button up shirts have decided to only cover either my boobs or my belly and is my belly is quite the attention grabber.. well its ok i had a whole bunch of different color bandeaus that i wore pre-pregnancy anyway

Sleep: its getting harder to get a full nights rest, occasionally i still need to pee during the night and this sleeping only on one side thing is for the birds. i get leg pains in the morning so i try my best to sleep on only my left side but sometimes i lean back a little so all my weight isnt pressing down on that side

stretch marks? i’ve been lotioning and oiling myself at least 2x daily

Food Cravings: still nothing out of the ordinary, cheeseburgers and chocolate shakes, chinese food and sometimes alfredo pasta

Best Moment This Week: watching the sun rise with dwight

Movement: yes all the time. i can feel areas where my tummy gets a little harder cause shes pressing on it ๐Ÿ™‚

Labor Signs: no

Gender: its a girl

Belly Button In Or Out? in

What I Miss: sleeping peacefully & fitting into my jeans. you know those jeans that make you feel good when you wear them, yeah those jeans. and wearing heels, i do have some cute heels.

What I Am Looking Forward To: seeing my belly grow more and being able to have people feel her move if they touch my belly

Milestones: hitting the halfway point in this pregnancy!

Weekly Wisdom: stock up on salty && sweet snacks. i was craving salty stuff when i went grocery shopping but later i was feeling for something sweet and i was sad that i didn’t have any lol.

    looking good girl!, Love the colour on you. I do not remember having to sleep only on one side, the baby will let you know if she does not like the position you are in. I am not sure with who, but, when I read at night and put the book on the belly I would get a jolly good kick. I believe it was either your Mom or Gilbert.

    You look wonderful. Make sure u eat ur bananas every day it helps with the cramps good source of potassium. Eat what u want as long as it healthy good food but no raw ok. Green bananas, yam, potatoe, fish, chicken, rice & peas, veggies( broccoli, spinach, collard green, beets, carrots) get it ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜˜your doing good and yes time seems to be flying. Love u

    Coconut water is an amazing spurce of potassium. Looking good baby. Im so hpy u r following her every growth process so u can tell her all about it as she gets older. U look so radiant. Beautiul mama

      Yes but remember, coconut water is a natural blood thinner. To never drink during your period or any bleeding. Won t kill you but you ll see the difference.
      Otherwise, enjoy being inhabited by Grace!
