sneaky peek

so this weekend was pretty eventful. i am so thankful that my family came up to help cause honestly i don’t think even half of it would have got done without them. we were able to exchange baby shower items that i got duplicates of and got some things that i was still needing. we got to unpack most of the house stuff and get things put away and set up. it feels nice to know where things are in the house lol.

but most importantly we started setting up little princess’s room! we’re cutting it a little close but hey its getting done.

crib is put together, dresser is coming this weekend and some decorations are up. we painted an accent wall (pea pod- in case you were wondering what color) and i put some wall decals up. i also got some other decorations from joann that i painted myself to go up and then i have a couple other pinterest inspired ideas to do, as if i didn’t have enough to do already i know i know. i just want it to be perfect, can you blame me? her closet is organized, just need to start washing her clothes, yes i bought the dreft, and get new rocking chair cushions.

sneaky peek for those who want to see? its not done yet, but i like to see the transformation pics. although i should have taken some before we started putting things in… oh well you get the idea.

super cute couldnt pass up wall stickies that i found

20130529-105940.jpgletters for her name to go on the wall. for some added visual effect i tried painting the sides of the letters in a darker shade of pink. they were just wood letters from the craft store. the cardboard ones would have been more fun cause they’re thicker but they didn’t have all the letters i needed, sigh.

this was actually a kids mask which is why there are no eyes but i thought it was a cute little fairy

You were always so creative, and still are. But, please, do not overdo things. I was so happy that you had all the help over the weekend, and it was a long one. Love the ideas for the walls. By the way there are the two pictures you painted that are here on my walls. Would you like to have them? Let me know. There is also your portrait done by Marianne.
    Love you sooooooooooo muuuuuuuuch.
